The ultimate joy ride for luxury vehicle enthusiasts

Despite releasing many of the details about the car, Porsche plans to officially unveil their 2019 911 GT3 RS at the Geneva Auto Show next month. The famous 911 model has been one of the most popular Porsches in the history of the automobile company; however, it has never had the kind of enhancements that it has received in this 2019 edition. The car is lighter, faster, and more powerful than ever before but still possesses the same beauty that made it an iconic vehicle.

Big Things In Small Packages

To sum it up in one short statement, this car is a beast. For starters, it has a 4.0-liter flat-six that pushes an astounding 520 horsepower with the need of any turbos. The engine produces 346 pound-feet of torque. All that power allows the 911 GT3 RS to go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds, and with a long enough straight-away, it can reach 193 mph. The chassis includes rear-axle steering with some slight tweaks for better performance. The car will become available in the fall of 2018 and will start at $187,500 plus an addition $1,050 for delivery.

The Weissach Package

If you want to make your new Porsche 911 GT3 RS even lighter and faster, you can opt for the Weissach Package. This package includes changes regarding the front and rear sway bars, roof, steering wheel trim and shift paddles with carbon fiber copies. All-in-all, the changes shave an additional 13 pounds off the car; however, it will cost you another $18,000. In addition, you can opt to replace the stock wheels for magnesium wheels to shave even more weight for another $13,000. Keep in mind, the Weissach Package and magnesium wheels will not be available upon release.
