The ultimate joy ride for luxury vehicle enthusiasts

The car-buying process is one of the most dreaded experiences that a person can endure. That is, until now. Autobahn Motors recently introduced the world’s tallest “car vending machine” in Singapore. Yes, you read that correctly. Purchasing a luxury car is officially as easy as buying a candy bar or a bag of chips.

Changing the Game in Car Sales

Gary Hong, general manager of Autobahn Motors, mentioned that the idea came from a Matchbox car display he had seen while shopping in a toy store with his son. The 15-story adult toyland was originally designed to maximize the limited available space in Singapore, but Hong wanted to implement some creative and innovative ideas to help Autobahn stand out from others in the industry.

The garage can hold up to 60 luxury vehicles that can be purchased anytime a customer visits the tower. The entire process is completed on a touchscreen tablet that can be accessed on the floor level of the building. Autobahn Motors’ staff members are available to assist anyone that needs help completing their purchase. Once a vehicle is selected, it will arrive in about one to two minutes.

The “vending machine” offers plenty of options for all car lovers, ranging from modern luxury sports cars to mint-condition classics. Some of the top-notch brands that are offered include Ferrari, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Porsche.

Location, Location, Location

Singapore is globally-recognized for its extremely high cost of living, so it is easy to see why something like this would work. The scarcity of real estate combined with the luxury lifestyle of its residents makes Singapore the ideal location for a high-rise luxury car dealership; however, it is not the first of its kind.

While Autobahn Motors claims the title of world’s tallest “car vending machine,” they are not the first company to embrace the concept. Similar structures have been popping up in the United States and Japan over the last several years. Most notably, an online car dealership by the name of Carvana built their own version in San Antonio that can hold up to 30 vehicles.

I think we can all agree that buying a car has never been so easy. All-in-all, it appears that the future of car sales is now.
